VAN UPGRADE: NEW WHEELS AND TIRES

BF Goodrich KO2 Tires with the Ultra AWD Rims

The very first day we had our van at home, we took the van to a local tire shop to have new rims and tires installed. We chose to install Ultra AWD Black rims with BF Goodrich KO2 245/75/R16 tires. As with many items, we purchased and pre-ordered the rims and tires in advance so we could change out the factory rims and tires almost immediately!

One of the issues we did have to address with the bigger tires is the pinch weld that everyone talks about. We planned for this and installed a 2-inch lift kit to allow for more room for the front tires which rubbed the back of the wheel well. However, we knew the lift kit would not fix the issue entirely, and so my husband did have to cut back a few inches of the pinch weld to finally fix the rubbing issue.
