Exploring the Outdoors

We are two parents in early retirement who are living our best lives through hiking, backpacking and van-life travel. We completed our custom-built Ford Transit adventure van in 2023.     Today we are traveling US and exploring new destinations in through van life.  Check out our recent blog posts below!

We started this page to share with our journey of building out our own custom adventure van to live in for full-time van life.  Through this blog and our YouTube channel, we share our journey and some big learnings as we completed this project together!

About Us

We have always shared a love for adventure and the outdoors. I rediscovered hiking in 2017, and since then have become obsessed with hiking, backpacking and adventure vans. In 2021, we bought a Ford Transit and took on the biggest project of our marriage designing and building this van together!  Follow us to see where this takes us next!
